Blaming American Workers Isn't A Smart Political Move, Apparently Republicans Didn't GetThe Memo
Edited on Mon Nov-24-08 05:37 PM by maddowfan
Anyone watching Hardball?

This has been a Republican talking point for weeks now.

How stupid do they think people are? Will Americans again let corporate heads blame them, the workers, for the economic collapse? Reagen all over again.

Every Democratic pundit better point this out, and make the Republican pundits shit in their pants for making such accusations. They need to put it simply like this:

"You're going to blame American workers for the economic collapse? Again the Republican Party only cares about the rich and the corporate elites. Perhaps this is the reason you lost your seats in Congress."

They also need to point out that Republicans were in control, causing this collapse. They gave the CEOs everything they wanted, and cracked down and bullied every union. Those crack downs put millions of Americans out of work. Dems need to get together and really turn this issue back on Republicans and have their heads roll.

1. But John McCrazy said that the fundamentals of the economy
were sound, talking about the American worker, didn't he?

Isn't this current line how they justified inequality in the Gilded Age?♦

2. Democratic pundits need to be very precise in their language.
They need to say that the Republicans are saying it is the fault of American workers because they did not go out and buy enough to keep the economy going. That it is the American workers' fault that companies leave their area. Etc....
