General Motors to Invest $1 Billion in Brazil Operations -- Money to Come from U.S. Rescue Program
General Motors plans to invest $1 billion in Brazil to avoid the kind of problems the U.S. automaker is facing in its home market, said the beleaguered car maker.

According to the president of GM Brazil-Mercosur, Jaime Ardila, the funding will come from the package of financial aid that the manufacturer will receive from the U.S. government and will be used to "complete the renovation of the line of products up to 2012."

3. I agree, part of the plan
If GM came out with this idea, the american's would have a fit. So congress says no to a bailout, and it forces GM to go the wayside, or to Brazil. Maybe that was the NWO plan all along? The NAU? Where North meets the South?

4. Why bother. How does the United States benefit?
After all it is our tax money.

GM needs to be told the money STAYS in the United States. It can not even be used to pay foreign suppliers.

5. Love this line...
It wouldn't be logical to withdraw the investment from where we're growing, and our goal is to protect investments in emerging markets,' Uhhh, OK then as long as your new investment money comes from company profits and not the pockets of the American people I can go with that! Sounds like a plan. Otherwise....well, not so much. Every time I read something like this I feel like a fool for running my own company conservatively and worrying about how to make payroll out of my own bank account. These corporations do not have to operate by the same rules.
