My fundie friend has hope in Obama now...
This lady is a member of our local homeschool group and the only conservative, religious person that I can honestly say I like. She posted an article at a social networking site we both belong to. i think you would like to read her article.

Huckabee and Obama, 2 men I heard about today

...He said: Of all the people I drove for Huckabee and Obama were the most real and genuine. Obama would introduce me as his republican driver.” Then he stopped and looked at me intently and said, “I have to tell you that Obama was really real.” Then he paused and looked at my son and said, “He cares as much about that boy of yours as you do. He really does.”

I stopped. Looked at him and said, “Really?” and the man nodded and said, “He really does.”

I asked him if I could take his picture and what his name was because I somehow needed to hear this and it helped to hear this.

So I am very excited that I got to meet Governor Mike Huckabee today and I am very very glad I met President-Elect Obama’s Republican driver Glen.

Honestly, what Glen the driver said has really given me some hope I hadn’t felt in a long time.
