out loud.

GOP Congressman Zach Wamp from Tennessee:

Transcript:

WAMP: People go into chapter 11 and out of chapter 11 in this country all the time, that's what it's created for.

MATTHEWS: Suppose they're not any good?

WAMP: Well, if they're not any good, then competition is going to bring the best cars to the market. Volkswagen just invested in Tennessee, in a right-to-work state, at a low-cost, with less health care. Why should we prop others up, when other companies can compete in this marketplace?

WAMP: ...It's time to let these people learn the lesson the hard way.

1. The day slavery ended was indeed a dark day for these people
Yet they have continued in their fight to make labor a free commodity for the rich. Looks like they are currently winning a lopsided victory.

2. They want everyone to make Wal-Mart wages in this country
to make corporate profits (the only ones they care about) go through the roof, and subsequently the CEO's share of the wealth. Right to work is the new slave labor.

8. Of course, you know with their exorbitant salaries
that include their own health care that they pay for now (because the Big 3 made them restructure their contracts a few years ago). Experts say only 10% of a domestically produced vehicle's cost comes from labor. Ten percent, eureka! Theres where the billions GM and Ford burn through a day are going!
