Coulter on Bush: "no modern president has ever done more to bridge partisan divides . . ."
". . . and show respect to his opponents than George W. Bush. I do not say this with admiration; it is simply a fact."

http://www.anncoulter.com/

Haven't seen an Annsanity post in a while. Couldn't let that one go by.

She is certifiably Annsane.

She's not getting much press lately. Look for another quote soon like the one about 9/11 widows enjoying their husbands' deaths, so she can get the attention she so desperately craves.

Sorry to be one to provide it to her, but that line is too ridiculous to not share here for those with a sense of the absurd.

22. She learned that from her leadership.
Either that or the blatant liars of this nation banded together to form that party.

I've been amazed at how many of them do it so well, so easily.

4. Lets say that Bush did try to reach across party lines.
The problem was that no one else in the Republican party ever listened to what the Democrats were saying. I do not recall Bush ever chastising any of his people. It was always our way or the highway. The bottom line is that Bush was never a uniter of Americans.

Ann needs her meds. She must really be pissed with all the attention the 'screecher' from Wasilla received in recent times. What a way to make a comeback.

6. So "bridging partisan divides" is the same thing as "not actually literally
killing one's political opponents" now?

In ten years, Coulter will be remembered the way Father Coughlin was remembered: as a goddamned fascist, racist crank with undeserved access to mass media who gave the first amendment a bad name.

19. Must revisit this for one more thought. Do you remember the late 90's?
Do you remember a time when you did NOT know the political affiliation of anyone you saw more than 2-3 times in your life, and did not think about it much?
That was then.
Now after the divider has been at work we know it about everybody.
Am I right?

For Coulter, "Modern" presidents start at bush! So on Jan. 20, she will change her opinion, undoubtedly!

Christ what the hell... what will it take to bring these people into reality?

25. so Bush had a bunch of meetings
and that is "bridging partisan divides and showing respect to your opponents". Once you have the meetings, it is apparently then okay to propose extreme rightwing policies and appointments.

Newsflash to Coulter, you actually bridge partisan divides by moving to the center. Mr. 'Uniter' didn't veto anything at all in the six years Congress was controlled by Republicans and suddenly discovered that power when Democrats took control.

26. She's partially right...well, about the "partisan divides" part I mean
Then other day I was forced to listen to John Boy and Billy, who both appear to be freepers. They were discussing how President Obama is going to damage the Comedy Writing business because, among other things, "he's not a total moron."

(Incidentally, I damn near spelled it "moran.")

When even freepers are calling Bush a moron, you know the country's united.

I don't believe Coulter "buys" 3/4 of the shit she puts on paper but she knows it will sell to the looney-tunes that support her existence. However, even this doozy is gonna be over the top even for the hardest-core 30%.
