5. I don't think courts or US attys should be bound to respect a "blanket" pardon
a blanket pardon is a meaningless pardon. Anyone accused of any crime whatsoever should claim that they are covered by this "pardon", since they were acting for the defense of the American people. One absurd claim is as good as another.
