Anyone else feel a little lost now that it's all over?
I did a bunch of phonebanking late last week and last weekend. Any time I wasn't working, I was calling. I just realized that I'll work a 1/2 day tomorrow, and then, a free afternoon!! I'm gonna miss seein' everybody at HQ. I have some adjusting to do!

1. Way too much work to catch up on to be lost
I still have much work that was set aside to work on the campaign to feel anything but exhausted. I waffle somewhere between exhausted and excited.

6. me too
still exhausted that is, with a mountain of work. This morning did the rest of the fall yardwork then hurried to burn all the brush before it started sleeting. Now I'm ready for a nap again.

14. Had to come back and wish you good luck with your tractor
The same thing happened to us last year and we never got our leaves picked up because it took countless house calls until MARCH for Sears repair dept. to get it running properly. And they made us pay up front...grr.

5. No this is where the hard work begins on a grass roots level.
The first place to start is real election reform. We have two years to do this before the next national election.

7. Lost, a bit aimless, emotions cycling around - yes. Agreed that there is work to do
Tons of it, as the other responders note - but one does have to give themselves time to process, recover, reenergize...and celebrate. As a recent laid off person, I filled my time with some of the campaign GOTV work - so I have a double hole to fill.

9. Not at all!
I couldn't be happier at the outcome of the election and as I said in another thread that this is a new beginning.

11. ME!!!!!!!!!!
But it's probably an avoidance issue. The biggest thing I've been ignoring is housework. All of a sudden, the excuse has vanished.
