What I expect from President Barack Obama:

It's simple; a return to sane, law-abiding and efficient government and an exit out of Iraq.

Pragmatic and steady leadership.

I don't think that my expectations are too unreasonable.

I do not expect him to fulfill all of my way far to the left wishes and dreams.

By the way, my political compass is to the left of Gandhi.

However, I want him to make government work again.

The key to winning supporters is being successful. This includes all stripes of Democrats and reasonable Republicans.

The marginalized will be left out in the cold.


Because nothing succeeds like success.


Edit: One other thing... I think that WE the people are the ones who need to do all the hard work to fulfill all of our far leftist wishes and dreams.

For a more Progressive America, we need to lead.

We can still work hard for the things we need. I believe at this point my focus is going to be universal health care. We need to become our own lobbyists like we've been lobbyists for peace and the constitution.
