The good news he that he should only be able to replace liberals with liberals.

The bad news is that he will.

The really bad news is nothing is certain.

“It is quite likely he would choose a woman or a minority,”

Can we see a Captain Obvious here?

As long as the conservatives + Kennedy can make it through to a GOP presidency, we’ll kinda be ok.

Barack Obama attended an Islamic school growing up in Indonesia and his father was a Muslim.

Obama's experience within Islam as a boy should give him a unique perspective into Islam unlike any other U.S. President.

How do you feel the election of Barack Obama will impact Islam in America?

Take the latest Truth For Muslims poll.

I don't think they will be happy with that. They will figure out a way to replace one of the conservative justices, or they just might try increasing to 11 justices so they can take a 6-5 majority. FDR tried it.

Obama was never a law professor. He was a lecturer. And his topic was election law and how to use them to achieve certain goals. I pity the students who had to listen to him “um” and “ah” through his lectures.

May have? Ginsberg can’t stay awake during hearings and Stevens is older than she is. The day after Obama is inaugurated Stevens announces he is stepping down and Ginsberg announces after they got a replacement for Stevens.

.....

Stevens will probably retire right after Obama is inaugurated. Ginsburg will follow shortly thereafter. Two libs for 2 more libs.

He’ll appoint at LEAST 2... the older libs who have been hanging on until Bush was out in hopes a Dem would replace them. Now we just have to hope none of the conservative judges fall ill or pass in the next 4 years.

1. "Justice Wright or Justice Ayers"
How long is it going to take them to realize they were all willfully duped during the campaign with those two scary red herrings?

You'll never hear of those two names from the Democratic side again, and yet they're still an integral part of the story for freeps.

5. Tribe is TOO old, judges in their mid-40s will be chosen
President Clinton should have chosen younger judges.

They are lifetime appointments, so a judge who's say 45 years-old could be on the bench until he or she is 90 years-old.

President Obama I don't think will pick Lawrence Tribe who's about 68 years-old.

Younger judges will be chosen.

11. Well, yes
Because nobody wants judges in their mid-60s appointed....under 50 years-old gives them a better chance of staying on the court for a VERY long time.

7. I hope their fears are well founded.
I want to balance out the relatively young influences of the Cons appointed by Buxh, or even create a liberal majority.
