I live in a mostly Republican neighborhood and work in a mostly republican environment and can tell you that I am so sick of their smug smartass attitudes. Today in the coffee room, whilst my cousin (a repuke) was talking to another one his ilk he mentioned that I was happy with the outcome. This asshole then belligerently started saying 'what do you know about Obama' to which I replied 'Enough to know that he is not Bush or McCain'.

I do know this about Obama...

He will not start an unjustified war to make us safer.
He will not keep Guantanamo open.
He will not torture people.
He will not keep running up the national debt like there is no tomorrow.
He will not use the fear and smear tactics to discredit those who disagree with him.
He will not continue the failed economic policies of his predecessor.
He will not turn the entire world against us.
He will not ignore science to further his own interests.
He will not be a social Darwinist.
He will not abandon every international treaty the U. S. ever signed.
He will not say government IS the problem and then govern so badly as to prove it.
You may ask how I know all this. Well, I don't. But at last a man was elected who inspires hope that all this and more is possible.

I can not wait until Barack is in the White House, the man has never deviated from his message since I first saw him, 'The UNITED States of America' was his message then, I have confidence that it will continue.

But be aware, I will be among the first to call on him if he loses sight...

The divisiveness of the last 8 years under the lying tool of the rich can not end soon enough. George Bush should be sent to Guantanamo and placed in a cage, along with every member of his administration and all of the republican assholes who supported him.

Think I am angry? This is mild compared to what I really think.

7. We have to make GOPers start answering OUR questions.

From now on, our instinct should be not to politely answer their questions, but to question their fear, uncertainty and doubt.

A question like "what do you know about Obama?" should be met with a "what the fuck is wrong with you?"

Or any other question that forces the bigoted, closed-minded assholes to bear the burden of explaining their idiocy and hate to others.

Start making them answer for their choices.

I even put a flag in my yard today (well yesterday) It was the first time I flew one since bush stole the election. Maybe I will put two on my car, one on my hat, and tell every fundipuke that Obama is OUR president, and it is time for them to stop whining.
