KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (Reuters) - One Afghan civilian was killed and three wounded on Saturday when a Taliban suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden car into a NATO convoy, police said.

There were no military casualties in the attack in the southern province of Kandahar, the alliance said.

"The military vehicle is still burning, smoke is rising from it," Gul Ahmad, a witness, told Reuters. "There are casualties but I can't say how many."

Residents had earlier said the rebels had fired rockets on the convoy.
