My Thought On UNDECIDED VOTERS

.......Just like Tweedy just said....Are they waiting for breakfast in bed???

.....No Seriously......The political philosophy's of Obama and McCain are 180 degrees opposites at this point why can't they choose this should be like asking them do you like Steak or Liver.....

Again how much more nurturing do they need???

1. They probably don't know too much about economics or about politics.
That is my best guess.

4. as Thom Hartmann speculated today
after early voters were polled there were "undecideds" (about 6%) which makes little sense until you realize that that is how some folks will tell you to fuck off and get out of their face...

5. Sadly
there is a percentage of the population who can't name the current pResident, much less who is running to replace him.

7. They ( as an amporhous group), remind me of black republicans

A person who has chosen one way or the other is not "special"..they just have an opinion, but somone who buck the trend and goes another way..or chooses NO way..well they are different.. and different always gets more attention

Pollsters should take away their "specialness", and just report the totals for people who choose.. report the "undecided" as "refused to state"...and then ignore them.. many will choose to not even vote..

Right now they are sought out and mollycoddled and primped & cooed over...and most of them could not choose between a Big Mac or a McFish if their lives depended on it:)... and after you quit watching them, they'll go down the street and get a taco..

8. The Undecided
The New Yorker's David Sedaris wonders just who the undecided are:

"I look at these people and can’t quite believe that they exist. Are they professional actors? I wonder. Or are they simply laymen who want a lot of attention?

To put them in perspective, I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. “Can I interest you in the chicken?” she asks. “Or would you prefer the platter of shit with bits of broken glass in it?”

To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked."

That about covers it. :)

9. Since you asked,
I can tell you that I received no nurturing whatsoever. I think people ought to get over it; either offer undecided voters something to vote FOR, something that they are looking FOR, rather than against, or just write them off.

If you write them off, of course, they will not be your scapegoat should you find yourself needing one.

In my case, while McCain was never an option, Obama wasn't, and isn't, offering me what I'm looking for either. I was undecided between Obama, a better D write in, or a 3rd party vote.

I'm no longer undecided. In fact, I voted 12 days ago. Still, I think perhaps I see the pov of the undecided a little more clearly than some.

11. I remember the great quote from Samantha Bee when talking to a roomful of
"undecided voters" a few days before the 2004 election:

"HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DRESS YOURSELF IN THE MORNING!?"
