Sure he - Alex something - would say that Bill was a "weak" president, that he just "rode" the wave of economic expansion. Of course, if the same economic expansion and replacing the huge deficit with a surplus occurred under a Republican administration, we would have never heard the end of it.

I will tell you what Clinton accomplished: he nominated two decent Supreme Court justices that have kept the right sweep at bay, helping the older justices to hang on until... January 2009.
