My son and daughter-in-law just moved there. In the city, not the 'burbs.

I just got off the phone with him as he was coming back from early voting.

Lots of happy Obama supporters.

McCain supporters, not so much.

So that adds 4 votes for Obama (my wife and I, and my brother and sister). Early voting has been rather heavy overall. Greenville is a college town (ECU), so that helps a little. The rural areas tend to lean a little red though. Hopefully NC will go blue this year, last time that happened was with Carter.
