my barber was telling me this morning about what he thought to be an intelligent businessman he was talking to the other day. this guy told him that barak obama is a muslim and wants the country to turn muslim. he was f&&king serious.

are people really this stoopid or is this maybe a cover for just being a racist dick?

3. no, most people are not that stupid,

but they allow themselves to "believe" these things to support their own wishes and views. Not wanting an African American as president simply helps bring all those inner thoughts out into the open. It's how people who truly think they are not racists, show that there is still bits of the old hate and fear alive and well.

I know the value of a regular stylist. I truly miss the guy I went to for years in IL. Crazy Irish Druid, long-winded and liberal as all hell, but man could he cut hair. Haven't had a decent cut since I moved away. :)

7. There were wild stories like that about JFK.

Mostly on the theme of how his candidacy was a sinister plot to enable the Pope to eventually run the United States. Many people believed it too. So there were foolish people back in the early sixties just as there are now.
