Two cops were patrolling a quiet backroad when they see a tall black man standing beside the road filling in a hole.

"That looked like Barack Obama!" said one.

The other said, "I think it was, but why's he filling in a hole? Let's go back and find out."

The cops turned around and, sure enough, it was Barack Obama. "I was driving, and the Republican Party roared around me doing about a hundred miles an hour but weaving like it was drunk. About a minute after it passed me, it crashed into that tree right there. I pulled over and checked. It was dead, so I buried it."

'That's nice of you, sir, to save the taxpayers the expense of scraping the Republican Party off the side of the tree so we can bury it...but are you sure it was really dead?'

"Yessir. It tried to tell me it wasn't, but you know how Republicans lie."
