God is a Socialist
Acts 2:44-45 (King James Version)
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts%202:44-45&version=9;

44
And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45
And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

1. Technically, Jesus Christ Was The Socialist. God Is Indifferent
.

The teachings of Jesus Christ are, in every way, those of a Socialist.

I agree with your thoughts and the actions of true followers of JC.

4. Except isn't Jesus actually God?
God or the son of God?... BOTH???

Oh, it's so confusing when you try to interpret it literally! Too many conflicting passages.

7. Realistically, god doesn't exist and neither did Jesus, but myths are

powerful and - for some people - instructive.

12. Jesus _May_ Have Existed. His Teachings Are Wonderfully Socialistic.

.

You can swear there is no heaven. I pray there is no hell. (Joke)

I am sure Jesus might argue that your declaring him a myth is not historically correct.

16. May, sure. And maybe I'm really a rich female socialite.
Of course, there's no evidence for either prospect.

17. The Absence Of Evidence Is Not Evidence Of Absence.
.

It takes quite a stretch of denial to come to the conclusion that a man did not exist simply because there is no hard evidence of his existence. Two thousand years ago (plus change) it was not a common practice that a person carried physical (and long lasting) proof of identity.

Yes if one wants to point that there exist not physical evidence that a man named Jesus existed, then yes one can smugly deny Jesus (as a person) existed. But the rub is, one cannot show physical evidence of the existence of the wind, but it does press against one's skin. The teachings of Jesus Christ are real. The teaching of Jesus Christ came from someone. I'll credit Jesus Christ: in the absence of evidence.

10. It's like Bruce Banner and the Hulk.
Bruce Banner says: "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

The Hulk says: "Hulk smash!"

They're the Holy Binity.

6. And the context changes nothing.
It says what it says. They pooled their resources, and distributed them to the needy.

13. What we KNOW is.. the early Christians were living in a socialist manner.
Whether you like that or not doesn't change it.

It's the historical fact.

15. Yeah, well, so is Santa. The Tooth Fairy is a fair trader, and leprechauns are libertarians.
I also heard that unicorns are conservationists, as well as faeries, and Bigfoot traded in his old ufo for a shiny new hybrid.
