Jay Leno just gave us a preview of why the Republicans want Hillary to be the nominee
Like I told you all.

Jay Leno in his monologue mentioned this book that's going to come out claiming that Bill Clinton has had a number of one night stands overseas. That Bill flies overseas to cheat. Some book, I don't remember the name of it.

Either way, this is why the GOP and their corporate media want Hillary. So that we can keep hearing about what Bill has allegedly been doing in his "spare time." After all, as they will posit, "how would she be able to govern the free world and look out for the country if she has to keep an eye on him as well?"

1. If that is true, it's just one more reason not to nominate her, that makes about 80.

3. Jay Leno checks into Comedy Rehab

AP Breaking News

Comedian Jay Leno checked into a California comedic rehabilitation center yesterday,
after apparently hitting what his spokesman is characterizing as "Comedy Rock Bottom."

Leno's spokesman read the following on behalf of his client:

"After many years of a steadily declining sense of humor, I have come to a moment of clarity. I have finally come to grips with the fact that I AM NO LONGER FUNNY. I used to be funny, but around 1994 the gradual decline of my humor began sliding away leading me to becoming the unfunny guy I am today. "

4. Further Statement from Jay and the reasons.
"You see, once David Letterman's honeymoon with CBS ended, he quit being funny. And that led me to think to myself, 'Hey, Jay! Now the pressure's off.' With Letterman having lost his sense of humor, you can relax a little. I mean, who cares? Since you now have no real competition, you can keep your viewers and your job without having to worry about being "on" every minute.

"So one lame joke led to another, and before I realized it, I was just like Dave: completely unfunny! Whether it was my "old men need Viagra" quips years after the timeliness of erectile dysfunction drug humor had worn off; or my "Clinton/Lewinsky" jokes that I was still telling 6 years into the Bush presidency, I was starting to see my whole life unravel. I mean, have you guys noticed that anytime I have a British guest on my show, I think that it's the funniest thing in the world to respond to them back in a patronizing manner, by parroting their accent to them? There's not even a joke there, I'm just pointing out that they sound different than Americans. And you guys let me try to pass that off as comedy?

"Or have you seen the way that I think it's funny to take a clip of a current event, maybe a speech by Vice President Dick Cheney, and I simply super-impose video of my band leader Kevin Eubank's face onto Mr. Cheney's body to make it look like Kevin gave the speech? That's not funny; but you guys let me get away with it.

"I can't help but think that the American public is partly to blame since they enabled me by still watching my show. Regardless, it's my problem to fix, and hopefully my stay at The Robin Williams Rehabilitation Center For The Comedically Depleted will help me find a way to restore the sense of humor I once had. If all goes well, maybe I can even be as funny as I was when I was Johnny Carson's guest host in the 1980's."

5. Old Billy can't keep the horse in the barn.
While I think infidelity is a private matter, I still think it violates the sacred bond of marriage. (Not in a religious sense, though from my description I understand it sounds like one.)

It shouldn't be illegal, but it is wrong.

I feel sorry for Hillary because of that.

8. How could that possibly help Republicans?
Edited on Fri Mar-16-07 11:04 PM by gatorboy
All it does is remind everyone that the top presidential hopefuls on the right do the exact same thing. If anything, Republicans have tried to downplay infidelity because, well, they like to fuck around just as much as the next guy, apparently.

since they don't have sex lives of their own! Oh, and they're perverts!

I HOPE the republics bring up sexual morals. Is Foley out of rehab yet?

Hillary's not a stupid woman, if the Clenis is wandering, she's not going to let it get in the way of doing her work.

from Americian Spectator that wrote all the lies about Clinton in 92, 93.Hell, anyone with common sense would know the right wing would come after her with something sexual about Bill.I suspect that Bill and Hillary know this was coming and have protected themselves against this with accurate accounts of where, who Bill meant with and at the proper time will present said evidence and smear the right wing zealots......

Listen folks each time we hear a talk radio Nazi, or any Fox reporter say "The republicans want Senator Clinton to run," means they're afraid of her. Talk radio and Fox whores are saying great things about Obama, which should make you wonder. Why would facsist bastards say nice things about Obama?

I have nothing bad to say about Obama. If Obama wins - whoever wins the Democratic nomination, I'm behind him/her all the way. (That's a sentence you won't hear from most in here.)

But seriously, between Obama with two years experience and the only team to win back-to-back presidential campaigns since FDR, (the team that beat war hero Bush and war hero Dole), ...

who do you think the super-racist GOP wants to run against?
