AAA numbers say gas is at a 3 year low, averaging 2.58 a gallon.

4. As of last night here in La Crosse, WI gas was $2.48. It may have dropped this morning.
I'm still driving on that $4 a gallon gas that I bought the first week in September.

But I suppose that your roads are a lot better than most states.

16. My home heating fuel bill the last fill up was $2600.
And I have to fill up three to four times a year. Thank goodness for that $1200 bucks. Not sure what we would have done without it...

10. You and me both. WNY here.
Just a short drive away to PA and it's a crapload cheaper. Admittedly NY assesses sales taxes on gas which few other states do ( I mean normal retail sales tax, not state gas tax - we have both) but even then that should be less than 25c difference.

14. Ah I see you are local. You could always go to the reservation stations
And pay that 2.58.

Frakly I avoid them (despite Randy's being my closest station) because I loathe and despise prepaying and cash. I am willing to pay for the convenience of an impersonal and speedy transaction.

BTW if you can get up to Tonawanda or NF you can get 2.94. Just go to www.gasbuddy.com and drill down to NY then Buffalo for list. $3.19 is highest in area (and includes where I am up in Lewiston).
