1. You sound 'concerned' and 'distressed'
I understand.

The bridge to jump off of is 8 blocks to the north. The one you are under is surrounded by "No On 8" People.

9. I will seriously consider leaving
if it happens. I thought for sure we would win in 2000 and 2004 and was crushed both times emotionally. I don't think I could handle it again. I can't get myself excited at these polls. I won't be able to really breathe until the election is over.

7. Hopefully no. But realistically, the same things are in place that were in place in 2004

Hackable vote machinery. Eighty percent of us will place votes on hackable machines. And even if you used a paper absentee ballot, the ballot can be read on Optiscan machinery, which is Diebold equipment. So your vote will be stored in a hackable computer memory device, and easily can be converted along with hundreds or thousands of others, into a vote for the person you didn't select..

The tactics they used in Ohio in 2004 can be taken nationwide. Among those tactics, the best option as I see it is that on Nov 4th the voting equipment just won't show up.

We are already hearing and seeing on videos that the votes are being switched from Obama to McCain or a third party candidate...

And the election's winner is called by the TV announcers, who except for Maddow and KO are all repugs.

Don't forget, the penalties for this type of thing are minimal. With all the fraud that occurred over the last five years, only one person (that I know of) in New Hampshire faced any jail time.

8. "I am an old man," wrote Mark Twain, "and have known many troubles…
most of which never happened."

Or, as another old book put it, "sufficient unto the day are the problems thereof."

Trouble yourself with those issues before you today and tackle tomorrow's woes only when they arise.

10. What an odd quote from the article
"The McCain folks realize their only path now is an Electoral College path"

Err... I wasn't aware any campaign had another path.
