what will you be giving the kids for halloween this year?
last year i gave peach ice cream. i stood at the door with a carton of breyer's and a scoop. at first i was tempted to plop the scoops into the kid's bags- but decided that it would be kinda mean- so i just gave each kid who wanted it a scoop of ice cream in their hand- they all LOVED it.

1. Vicious pitbull nightmares.
The gift that keeps on giving. And with almost an even 10 of them, should be easy.

Oh, and :sarcasm: because some twit will think I'm serious.

2. They don't come to our house.
But I always buy some Reese's PB cups, which happen to be my favorite, just in case.

3. *lol* That's a new one! Here, they'd all be eating woolen fibers from their mittens.
I get very few little ghosties and goblins - we're pretty rural. I used to buy candy I hated, just so I wouldn't eat it all before Hallowe'en, but then I was always stuck with it!! So now I just have to practice self-control. I'm doing fun-size Hersheys with almonds and Reeses. I'll get two or three knocks at the door, if that...and then I get to eat the rest!

8. Candies without nuts
I went to Target to get this big bag of assorted candy, and I mentioned to another customer (a woman in the Army) that I was going to only buy candy without nuts in it for Halloween.

I told her it was because of all the nut allergies you see these days, and I'd feel real bad about giving a kid something that'd get thrown away because he couldn't eat it, and worse if someone got sick or died because of Halloween candy I gave 'em. Next thing you know she's run around and told ALL the other shoppers...if you want a LOT of peanut M&Ms and fun-size Mr. Goodbars, I know a Target that can square you away.

I'm working a church function Halloween night. :)

I just hope it's a Halloween celebration and not one of those damn Fall Festival or Neewollah things. Screw the war on Xmas! What about the War on Halloween?

18. In 2004...
I miniaturized a Kerry-Edwards bumper sticker using photoshop, about a 100 of them, and slipped them into the bags when the kids weren't looking.

I plan on doing the same for Obama-Biden, this year

My neighborhood is about 80% repug

24. Give McCain buttons instead.
If you're going to disappoint the kids, McCain's name should be associated with the disappointment.

25. Good idea
but I was going to tell the trick or treaters that McCain hates children and since giving out candy at the door to any kid who comes to it, is a redistribution of wealth, McCain wants to outlaw it!
