1. I told people this when the $4+ gas was occurring
But NO! THEY "knew better" than I.

I don't bother telling people how it is anymore- time tells them better, and they can't argue with it.

10. prices are going down so they are going to cut production to keep the prices up
IMHO - Two factors - the large corporate gas companies and the small end business which are mostly india owned

they have been manipulating supply to keep prices high and they don't want to go under $2 like it was before Bush and even in the beginning with bush - they like their record profits - they want a repuke in the wh to continue getting record profits so manipulating gas prices is one way - also the small business owner (mostly india owned gas stations) believe the repukes are good for them. Hotels and motels too (most have fox news on their lobby tvs - these are all repukes and many of these business are (india owned) they like the idea of their own business and do not see dems as their friend both here and at home

5. They are doing everything within their power to get Republicans elected
But not this time. No Way No How...We expect prices to start to rise immediately after the election no matter who wins but also I expect a Windfall Profits Tax if things get out of hand again...

6. This is part of their plan so they can raise prices, because they've shorted
the supply, after Sen.Obama is elected president. imho

11. They're cutting their own throats. Americans have driven billions of miles less...

in these recent months the price of gas just simply too high. Corporate America has been thinking we're stupid for way too long and we have been. The power is in the purse. Time to use it. Cut back, cut down. Send out our own sanctions; forms of rolling boycotts until they get the message.
