Who taught us not to fear.
Who died before I was born.

I cast my vote in memory of my murdered president,
Whose vision and leadership
Took us to the moon.

I cast my vote in memory of a leader,
Who showed us that Truth and Justice
Were inevitable,
The power of his Dream.

I cast my vote for one who fought corruption
Who fought for fairness,
Who also died too soon.

I cast my vote for THAT ONE
Whose vision pours upon us
The audacity of Hope.
I, too, have a Dream.
