What'd you miss...hmmm, let's see. Not sure when last you posted or read so I'll just start with *takes deep breath* (for best effect, this should be read as though recorded at 33 and played at 78; I think you're old enough for that reference) *takes another deep breath*
the mccain camp picked some unknown from AK as his VP who upon first glance looked to be some sort of a moose-killin' Gidget but who upon closer inspection turns out to be cheany with a face-life and a vagina. The vagina part's really important since people like mccain figure one cunt's as good as another (HE SAID IT FIRST! waaaaaa) and so they're all interchangeable and it was to get the former Hillary supporters who can't tell one from the other and women are so stupid we can't tell the difference either. But, it's okay because she says she's a feminist and since we all know all feminists think alike some are suddenly going to throw caution and their uteruses (uteri?) to the wind and vote for a woman who thinks they should go to prison for having an abortion and who made women pay for their own rape kits if they *alleged* they were raped.
mccain learned to use air-quotes in time for the final debate in which he noted that women were running around getting abortions for the helluvit and saying it was for the "health" of the woman. That was a paraphrase but at least as accurate and truthfilled as what the repubs come up with against us.
Obama's either a Marxist, Communist, or Socialist depending on which r/w talking head is attacking which Obama spokesperson. There was a really ugly dust-up with Biden on a Florida "news" station with another one of those interchangeable women who is trying to tie ACORN to election fraud and Obama to ACORN and ACORN to communism or socialism or marxism or some other ism.
ted stevens was found guilty on all 7 charges so he's a convicted felon and can't vote for himself but can still serve in the senate unless 2/3 of them vote to remove him which many people think they won't since they'll wait until he's exhausted (speaking of exhausted. whew) all his appeals so he'll manage to serve out all of his term if he's re-elected but the AK DUers don't think he'll be re-elected so we'll have to wait and see. See?
everybody's talking about taxes because of some guy whose name isn't joe but who's called "joe the plumber" and he tried to blindside Obama during a campaign stop asking some questions that it turns out have nothing to do with joe because he's not a licensed plumber and he doesn't make near enough to be hit with a tax bill based on Obama's tax plan and he owes back taxes and fines for an old driver's license in AZ but someday he's going to run for congress right after he gets the money to buy a business he doesn't know how to run making money he doesn't know how to report just as soon as he gets his plumber's license if his boss doesn't fire him first for being such a moran.
a DUer got banned for writing some really ugly stuff then came back on the board to "apologize" in such a way it was obvious why he was banned but it enraged (rightly so) many of the people he had originally insulted and I got so angry I had to sign off only to discover when I signed back on this morning that he'd been re-banned (YAY!!) and Skinner was a bit embarrassed about it so I won't go into any more detail here than I've already said.
I wrote a really funny (well, I think it's funny) paragraph as part of one of my posts and I think it might apply to the two guys who thought they were going to kill 102 people; 88 dead, 14 decapitated because the numbers 14 and 88 mean something to the white supremacy trash in this country and they were going to end their killing spree by wearing white tails and top hats as they drove their car at Obama. That's the first I'd heard that the kkk type had traded their sheets and hoods for tux and tails and top hats.
Imagine if reporters reported the news to ridicule - "Yet another coward claiming virgins were waiting for him in heaven blew himself to bits today. Fortunately, no others were harmed as he suffered from premature set-off bomb. Medics on the scene were able to recover his 1" penis. Those virgins are going to be disappointed. Later in the day supporters of 1" penis guy were confronted with the penis and asked to drop their drawers and prove they were worth the virgins. When last seen, the supporters were frantically searching for rulers to prove their manhood. Rulers and manhood were in short supply. Witnesses at the scene were unable to respond to questions as they were laughing so hard they couldn't catch their breath. Next up - britney spears sings 'Whoops, I did it again.'"
One of our dogs had a bad episode but pulled through and we were able to find a good and reasonably priced vet to take care of her and she's doing much better now even though she's lived longer than many of her breed do but we're feeling hopeful so that's pretty cool for us except for the whole trying to slip a huge pill down the slimy gullet of a greyhound who has breath that would gag a maggot but it makes her feel so much better I hold my wretching until after I get it down her then go wash the slime from my hands.
Other than than I've been wondering where you were at since I hadn't seen you around but since I'm not around as much as I used to be I thought maybe I just missed you in passing sort of thing so I'm really glad to see you're back.
