5. He talked to Gretta (blech) and probably got himself in trouble
Bragging about "building his house himself with contractor buddies" (um....like the ones who were building that monstrosity of an overblown sports complex down the road with "redistributed" taxpayer funds?)

6. Mr. Pailin sounds like an Irish tenor. He may be the "first dude" and
the "snow machine champion," but he doesn't possess the baritone voice that fits his image.

I heard a clip of his voice on Minnesota Public Radio.

9. hmm. are you saying Tenors are unmanly?
personally, I was a bass before neck surgery, but I have respect for Tenors: that is a tough part to sing.

15. I suspect that traveling in the McCain/Palin circles, a baritone/bass voice
would be more cherished.

Personally, its the concept, not the voice.

24. LOL -- Imagine him in the Monty Python "I'm a Lumberjack" song
Which was performed, coincidentally, by Python's Michael PALIN!

8. I believe it was Mark Twain who said it ....

"It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

I mean after all .... how bright can this clown be if he married Sarah Failin'?

18. There was a post on DU a while back about him saying he was happy to be part of the ticket.
With his history of being so involved in the Governorship of Alaska, he probably thinks he is part of the ticket.

16. Because someone might ask him who those contractor "buddies" were who "helped"
him build his half million dollar house.

(That was from a radio interview that the McCain campaign probably regrets.)

22. If he talked, we would ask about his secessionist party membership.
He quit in 2002, but til then did he want Alaska to secede?

And then we might ask what he was going participating in Alaskan government business when he wasn't elected to do so.
