Jabba The Rush Insists Non-Morans Be Purged From Republican Party
On Rush’s web page there is an article called Good Riddance GOP Moderates. He starts out saying he wants a reach around from Pat. No… wait. He says he wants to reach around and pat himself on the back. See, he wants a small tent Republican Party, where only true conservatives, i.e., the truly nutty and the bigots, will run the show. You know, the great folks in all the videos outside of the McCain and Palin rallies. Well, for the first time in my life, I agree with him. Scary thought, that. But I take comfort in the fact that even though we want the same thing; it’s for different reasons. He is whistling past the graveyard, showing bravado to cover his fear. I, on the other hand, want his ideology to shrink to the point of simple nuisance.

So, kick them out Rushy, chase off anyone with half a brain, any decency or the ability to be rehabilitated. This will probably be our only agreement ever, so I hope your ilk will pull it off. I want the division between the parties to be unmistakable, even to the hardest case apathetic. And certainly don’t want the bigots and crazies in the Democratic Party. Keep that ever-dwindling pool of Neanderthal-Human concoctions to yourself, and let the rest of us try to fix the damage your kind has already done.

(If I use a link, someone will whine. If I don’t use a link, someone will whine. Well, non-link whiners, this is your lucky night. Link whiners; tough shit - look it up.)

I keeed, I keeed.

1. Obama winning is the best thing that ever happened to Rush..
Now he doesn't have to defend the crazy crap the Republicans did and do.

All he has to do is attack Obama and the Democrats.

That is what Rush lives and breathes for.

3. Rush Knows
Rush knows that true conservatives cannot vote for John McCain. The man is no conservative. Rush railed against McCain throughout the primaries, then floundered a few days before deciding to give himself over to McCain.

GOP splits into GOP and the, what, Fasicst Christians for a Racist America? If that happens, we'll be in charge for the next 100 years.

8. K&R'd
I suppose it's no surprise to anyone that this is Limbaugh's opinion; don't be afraid to kick it, maybe it'll get there!

I hate the fact that he's from Missouri, my adopted state. I've been to Cape to Girardeau, where his family is from, and there are good people there (I work on homeless issues with them). But his name is a stink that hangs over that fair city, IMO.

If the Fairness Doctrine results in his finally being exiled (or exiling himself) to satellite radio like Howard Stern, the country will be SO much better off.

I'm not sure how it will all shake out. I hope they split into two parties but with a drawn out bitter fight for the title "republican party".

20. Rush's side of Republicans will lose the general election but...
will remain the dominant voice in the present-day Republican Party. They will win the division within thier own Party. However, folks like Rush and Hannity will remain the voices for a weakened and damaged base of a national political Party. It will be interesting to see how they rebuild their once powerful and hateful organization back to national stature.

There is only one way for them to do that. And that is to define the Obama Administration as a failure in every respect. Because times are going to get tough and everyone knows it. But the Rush and Hannity Party would like everyone to know that it would have been much better under a McCain Administration. Unfortunately, that is what people are presently voting for - who will do a better job under the bad times that lie ahead?

30. Then He's Got It Completely Backward
Edited on Sun Oct-26-08 12:03 PM by ProfessorGAC
Palin's selection was completely intended by the pwoers that be to marginalize the radical right. No doubt in my mind.

The "real" Republicans, the Rockefeller or Goldwater types, are tired of the nutjob right. They have served up a zealot like Palin, so her and Johnnyboy will get slaughtered.

Then the puppet masters can tell the radical right to shut up!

31. He can't kick them out, they're leaving IN DROVES of their own choosing
he's just trying to frame this as some great move on the right wing's part. In fact, they are being marginalized by members of their own party who recognize dangerous political assholes when they see them.

the irony in all this is that John McCain ruined his political reputation by kowtowing to the radical religious right in his party after trying to make a career of claiming he was his own man. Not anymore. Now he's Dobson's bitch.

This is doubly weird considering these same people in the republican party destroyed him in 2000 with their religious, racist hate speech.

Just to say that the religious right again proves it is political poison.
