A million people protest Berlusconi, does the media pay attention?

We all heard about mass strikes in Venezuela, but did you know the same thing is going on in Italy right now?

Why is the media so Anti-Chavez, but so Pro-Berlusconi?

Chavez is a left-winger; Berlusconi is a right-winger. It was ever thus.

In the run up to the referendum last winter though, we caught the media reporting both anti-Chavez AND pro-Chavez demonstrators as anti-Chavez protestors. Iirc, we initially caught on because in the photographs, marchers were wearing Chavista red stuff -- shirts and hats.

Their interests are not simply unusual. At times, their interests result in active disinformation.
