OMG....Freepers Attending "Poll Watcher Training FOR BROWARD COUNTY"
Translation, freepers hope to harass voters in Broward County

Man if I lived there I'd be voting EARLY to avoid these nuts!!

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2115240/posts

I attended poll watcher training today for Broward Co FL. While it was a disjointed affair :eyes: filled with technical difficulty, there was quite a bit of information provided that I think other Florida voters (even those not signed up as official poll watchers might find useful.

Should you see a bus pull up while you are waiting, get into high gear. This is an attempt to intimidate elderly elections workers to cut corners so that the line does not get too long. Watch the workers if you can to make sure that ID is shown by each voter that they check in.

If you hear little kids running around signing the obama song or disrupting things in any way....please make darned sure to get to the clerk or the poll deputy.

Listen to those around you while in line. If someone is bragging about voting in two states, skirting the felon law, not yet a citizen...etc, challenge their vote. ::eyes: You will need to fill out a form giving your reason and they will have to vote a provisional ballot and prove their case later.

10. Isn't that the home of 2 Live Crew?
I hope there are some Dem poll watchers diligently protecting the voters from inbred FReepers who plan on disrupting the process.

11. I'm wondering if there's any effort underway to organize support for voters waiting in line...
In majority-Democratic precincts with old machines, disruptive "challengers," and other reasons for loooong lines, I've often wondered if it's possible -- or legal -- to relieve people in line who need to use the bathroom, lend them a cellphone, bring them water or a granola bar, etc. -- to help them make the wait. It wouldn't have to involve ANY campaign paraphernalia etc...
