Freeper ready to 'lash out viciously' at anyone who votes for Obama
Edited on Sat Oct-25-08 09:04 AM by Fuzz
On a thread that purports that Republicans are 'happier' than Democrats.

I'm not sure what the point of this article is but I will not give up ever. If Obama happens to win and I still think it's 50-50 I will react.
This election is personal to me. Obama is the worst person to EVER run for president. He is a very dangerous man. His election won't be the worst day since 9/11. It won't be the worst day since Kennedy was killed. It won't be the worst day since Pearl Harbor. It won't be the worst day since the crash of 1929 or subsequent depression. It will be the worst day since Fort Sumter. That's the only thing that could compare to him being elected. I don't just consider a vote for him foolish, I consider it treasonous. In light of this I've broken off all relations with those who I know will vote for him. We are finished. And this includes close relatives. I written close relatives out of my will. If they want money go to the government and Obama. It will cost several of them many hundreds of thousands dollars for their foolishness and stupidity. I urge others to do the same. An Obama victory will be the end of America as we know it. I'm mad as hell and i will lash out viciously at anybody I know who votes for him. They in time will be sorry for their stupidity but it will be too late. The damage to the Republic will be permanent. A pox on them all. Nothing bad enough can happen to them.

5. How weird.
The election of a candidate enthusiastically supported by a majority of the citizens will be "the worst day since Fort Sumter". Further, "the damage to the Republic will be permanent."

Obviously "truthguy" (ha!) has bought into a slew of totally false statements and beliefs, resulting in these outlandish fears. It would be sad were it not tragic.

I like the part of writing his relatives out of the will, costing them 'many hundreds of thousands of dollars'.

I'm sure it will.

I'm also sure that his relatives would be surprised that this moron even has a pot to piss in, let alone a window to throw it out of.

14. This guy certainly doesn't seem happy.
I guess if his relatives will be losing hundreds of thousands of dollars he must be in the small group that will pay more in taxes.

It would not be worth placating a person like this just to inherit hundreds of thousands of dollars and I am of the opinion that he is a blowhard who uses his money and his "friendship" to bludgeon people into doing his bidding - like most Republicans. (kidding on the last part - sort of)

But things were pretty OK under Clinton, and they only hated him more as more hatemongers joined the chorus.

I suppose the first sign of that happening would be if the audience for Rush and his ilk declines.

44. Hope and a dollar will buy you...
...well, it won't buy much of anything anymore, except maybe a pack of gum. You're absolutely right about Clinton.

Carter was a conservative Democrat. Now it's common "knowledge" that he was a tree-hugging moonbeam Bolshevik.

Clinton was a good ol' boy DLCer who spent the last 6 years of his terms stealing Republican issues and splitting the difference. Didn't stop them from turning him into an American Maoist.

Those idiots won't change. There's a quarter of the electorate who just won't be ruled (ruled, not governed) by Democrat usurpers. And the problem is, they've got the juice to make trouble well beyond their numbers. They're still mobbed up, networked, and connected, from churches to think tanks to media outlets to boardrooms and so on.

Obama is going to have the ride of his life dealing with them. He'd better be tough and not try to be everyone's friend like Bill, or he'll get flayed and scapegoated for Bush's messes. (That goes triple for the new Dem Congress. If they stand at arm's length from their President, like they did with Clinton, they'll go down with him)

33. I was thinking more along the lines of
a set of (unused) false teeth, 300 photos of himself posing in front of a '65 Chevy pickup on concrete blocks, a mullet comb, 16 dogs all with some form of the name "Booger", 3 pairs of gray Fruit of the Loom jockey shorts with holes in the ass, and his beloved beer can collection.

Oh, and that nickel...

29. "Worst day since Fort Sumter"
Edited on Sat Oct-25-08 09:39 AM by RainDog
On April 12, 1861, terrorists opened fire on American army forces at the Fort. The terrorists fired upon the Fort for 33 hours.

This terrorist attack is traditionally referred to as the beginning of the civil war. Prior to this attack by terrorist forces, South Carolina, the state in which the U.S. govt. Fort was located, had announced its withdrawal from the United States because of the election of Abraham Lincoln as President in 1860. Six other rogue tribal leaders in the southern united states followed the South Carolina example. (edited to add - a total of 11 states declared themselves enemies of the U.S.)

This dipshit freeper apparently doesn't understand that history shows the damage to the republic came from the terrorist states, not Lincoln. In other words, if they choose to be enemies of the nation, then the problem is theirs, not the republic's.

Noted civil war historian Shelby Foote famously said that the North fought the terrorist confederate states with one hand behind its back. Foote said that if the North had fully engaged its powers, the terrorists would have been totally decimated much faster.

Which leads me to hope that the U.S. learned from that moment and that history. If these same terrorist sympathizers want to declare themselves enemies of the U.S. again, we should have no mercy on them.

32. Why is it that...
when they rant about how Obama would be the worst thing ever, they can't ever give any rational reasons why they think so?

Just generalized "He's the worst ever"

Since Fort Sumter, even!!!! OK, now I'm impressed!!!

This person not only lived through Pearl Harbor and the Great Depression, but was actually present at Fort Sumter!!!!!

Of course, he would have to have lived that long in order to have amassed thousands upon thousands of dollars to bequeath to fawning relatives (the others will have to get their thousands from the government!!!)

I'm just real surprised he's not threatening to move to some other country where the political atmosphere would be more to his liking...

North Korea, maybe?

I'll bet he's never even heard of it.

PS... I hope he gets help for his mental problem, though

The rabid right likes to think that they're the baddest boys on the block, and that all liberals are wimps and pacifists. That's nowhere near the case, the difference between the rabid right and liberals is that liberals don't go shooting off their mouths in order to boost their courage, we don't need to.

Oh, and tough guy, your side doesn't have a monopoly on gun ownership either.
