You gotta love it. The Republican "base" has become their own worst enemy.
The "B girl," the "Obama's a Muslim" people, the birth certificate, Antichrist, terrorist, etcetera.

These not so gentle idiots that get their news from Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage and Billo go out and spout their bullshit on the national stage as the rest of America hears them and asks WTF???

I have to believe that the BS from the 521's and RW talkies during the past few elections motivated a large enough contingent to get W into office by any means necessary so they pulled out the stops this time and they just went too far with their fairy tails.

I'm hoping McCain and the RNC have damaged their party to the point that we can look forward to a Democratic Congress, Senate and Presidency for the next 20-30 years.

1. Agreed. This election is a referendum on the Right Wing.
The presidential race has drawn out the ugliness. These are not church-going, peace-loving souls. Hell no. These people want blood.

4. And so many are seeing that now and don't want to be associated
with it. I have a friend who has always voted republican and this time he's not voting because he still can't bring himself to vote Dem. His main reason was McCain's choice of Palin.

3. Yes, I told the wingnuts in one online forum to just keep writing, because
they were the best argument against McCain that there was.

6. Does the RW blogosphere deserve the Pulitzer Prize?
Jon Swift writes a wonderfully sarcastic post about the "big news flaps" of the right-wing blogosphere.....no wonder they inspire the insane wingnuts, or do the insane wingnuts inspire the RW blogosphere:

Go read the whole thing, you won't be sorry....and they call us crazy?

8. Not sure if you noticed, but we're about to elect a black President...

With an arabic name and big ears.

How's that for a referendum on the right wing Republican Party?

6 years ago you'd have gotten a million to one odds on this happening. But it is about to. Of course, Obama is a once in a lifetime kind of figure. He's an extreme Polymath.

9. Polymath.
I had to look that one up to be sure, but it's completely apropos for Obama. What a pleasant change from the last eight years.

10. Finally a candidate who knew what they would do
and just how to fight them.

Ignore them.... and then mock them.

Anything except get down in the mud with them, Obama knew (even though we did not)that if everyone is covered head to toe in mud, it makes it difficult to tell which one is the good guy.

Ignoring their filth and slime caused them to over reach as they always do, and all he had to do was stay on message and occasionally point out how sleazy they are.

Brilliant!
Thank you Senator for not listening to me yelling at the TV for you to slap them when they left the many openings with their lies.
America would have been distracted from your message of CHANGE!
