The Ashley Todd story has exposed yet another long term problem in this country.
The hundreds of thousands of mentality ill conservatives that remain undiagnosed and untreated. Something has to be done.

2. I agree that it exposes a problem.
But I think the problem is people who make up phony excuses when young white women behave criminally.

3. Ultra-right Christians tend to not believe in mental health care
I read an article about a study recently that interviewed Christians who had mental issues and the report concluded that the more liberal ministers sent their parishioners to real therapists while the far right-wing ministers did Bible counseling with them.

So this thread is exactly right!

7. Yes, this is very true. It's also a problem with military chaplains -
the mainline Christian and Jewish and Muslim chaplains will provide spiritual counseling and care for the men and women suffering PTSD and other horrors of war and military. The evangelical, rightwing chaplains just tell 'em to believe in Jesus and their problem is a lack of faith, not mental trauma.

9. I'm only half kidding on this.
Anybody that thinks this isn't a real problem need only wait until they try and drive to work on the morning of November 5th. They'll be out in force taking their rage to the highways. I'm seriously considering staying home on November 5th.
