Sarah Palin recently told the Chicago Times that she is very frugal and that the clothes broo-ha-ha is just not who she is.

Sarah Palin is very frugal with HER OWN money - not the taxpayers.

She charged Alaska per diems for staying in her own house.
She flew her children around with her at Alaskans expense.
She accepts astronomical amounts of expensive clothing in possible violation of McCain Feingold.

There's frugal and then there's venal.
