I can't believe the city council can just change the laws after the voters of the city voted on those at least twice! But the more I think about it, I guess a city council can enact or overturn the laws of the city the same as Congress can do the same for the Country.

2. Not Happy About This Grab For Power
51% said in a poll yesterday they were against it and 90% said they think it should be a referendum. I guess that's why it was pushed through in this way.

3. FINE. Let him.
But then again, he's got a LOT to be upset about. All of it self-inflicted.

5. You think that will happen after this reaches the courts?
I doubt it.

8. I don't know. What court can it be presented to? At first, I thought
the same as you, but then I thought about the typical gov't structures. AFAIK, Congress has the ability to pass new laws that would render the old ones mute, as long as the Prez signs them. In that same vein, a governor and state legislature has those same powers within the State, and a mayor & city council the same within a city. Am I seeing this wrong?

9. Going against the will of the voters once again.
It also applies to city council as well. Conflict of interest?
