"By 2010, Obama's policies will have caused damage that will take generations to repair"
This according to Rush Limbaugh on his radio show today. It's never too early to roll out a talking point, I guess.

If Obama is the next President, all the damage done by eight years of Bush, Inc. policies will be attributed to Obama and the Democratic Congress. It will be like Junior Bush never existed. 1. We knew that would happen
They did it with Clinton. At least, we can point to the real estate collapse as happening in Summer/Fall of 2008 before the election.

2. it just amazes me that the morans have control of the language!
we MUST take that control away from them. i hate to say we need to become dittoheads but that is how they have controlled us for so long. of course, that is after we break up the media monopolies. :)

4. Pffft. The Repukes said the same thing when Clinton won
My coworker: "Mark my words! The country will be in shambles in just four years!"

Turns out it was Bush, not Clinton, who wrecked the country.

Obama will get so much money from me and my rich friends, it will take generations to get back what we gleaned from Americans in a few short years!

26. pffft...Obama's a godsend to AM hate radio shitheads like him.
Hell...there wouldn't BE a Rush Limbaugh show if it wasn't for us. He'd still be selling tickets for the royals if it wasn't for Dems. He should be thanking Obama.

One thing that might happen though- through media re-regulation, there might no longer be a monopoly of dihonesty, stupidity and hate speech on the public airwaves.

once we get the ball rolling on investigations, actual job creation, a decent living wage and healthcare, it'll take the pukes a long long time to convince Americans that it was all bad for them.

They know Clinton was good for them, and I suspect they know Obama will be good for them - and their children, if they care.

It took the GOP 60 yrs to dismantle the New Deal, and put the little guy back in his place. And now a BLACK MAN is threatening to undo all their work.

18. Believe me, he is thrilled with the idea of Obama in office
Nothing will fire up his minions like it. Nothing will sell more books to people who don't read them, etc.

We're already seeing whatever was left of the mask of civility fall from these people's faces. The underside of American political culture during the Obama administration is going to be as openly ugly as we've seen in awhile.

I am concerned that they will go too far in fanning the flames of racism, though.

25. That anal cyst must be growing in his head
because you'd have to have been deprived of your senses to not see the devastation the Bush administration has wrought. Plenty of Republicans have had the decency and patriotism to admit this. The party is not all, Rush.

or maybe he's saying this stuff b/c the party is all... better lock up the oxycontin scripts.

31. Of course they'll also credit Shrub's policies if the economy turns around.
The way their pea brains work is that if anything good happens in a Democratic administration then it must be tied (no matter how strained the relationship) to some past Repub policy.
