Thom did a brief tribute at the beginning of this Tuesday's show. At the age of 15, he was a runner bringing messages to Hitler and others in the high command, and probably the last to see Hitler alive. Wounded, captured, and shown evidence of the atrocities, he became a pacifist and worked for peace throughout his life. He toured with Hartmann serving charitable causes, although it was years before Hartmann learned the story behind Armin's dedication to peace, and he served the greater good through the remainder of his 80 years.
