This Jeffrey A. Thompson is the same as the one who preceedted knodell in his job?

QUoting from previous posting

This may or may NOT be the same guy but a Jeffrey A. Thompson loves to review books at Amazon.

Here is his review ( in part) of "An Inconvenient Truth"

"

7 of 13 people found the following review helpful:
I agree, but ..., February 3, 2007
Al Gore has a very good message and it needs to be heard. He presents it in a powerful way. However, Al has one big problem his ego and an ax to grind. He never knows when to stop. To his credit, he does a decent job of toning down the politics, but he disparages replubicans exclusively. Excuse me, there was the Clinton/Gore whitehouse for 8 years between the Bush's, but nary a word about that presidency. The present administration deserves a lot of heat, but this is a bigger problem than what Bush created. I agree Man is exacerbating global warming, but the whole look at the life of Al Gore and the sacrifices he makes for this cause, slow the movie down immeasureably. I mean if he was likeable, he would have pounded G. W. in the election.

118. I just talked to Waxman's office.

Talked to a very pleasant woman.
I told her I could find nothing on the web or at the White House dot gov website when I searched for "James Knodell" nor for "Office of White House Security" nor for "Director of White House Security".

Also, he is not on the 'official' list of 2006 White House staff.
I told her I was very confused.
Who is this guy, where does he work, and who does he work for?
Is he not 'staff'?

She said she believed he was and would pass my question along to Rep. Waxman.

37. What is not being said in the hearing today, but is most definitively clear...
Over 3100 US troops killed in Iraq, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens displaced, maimed, killed, using the "mushroom cloud"--Saddam proliferation of WMD lies by abusing the Niger report to gain PNAC goals, makes the Bush administration the most despicable, horrendous, and criminal administration in US history; The Nixon administration crimes pale when compared to what BushCo has done.

Today I am a proud American as I watch and listen to Valerie Plame.

Maybe today's testimony by Plame will bring cause and genuine action to dismantle BushCo.

427375, Press knew Bush WH wasn't investigating Plame outing and still PROTECTED him
Posted by blm on Fri Mar-16-07 12:29 PM

when Kerry brought it up throughout the campaign. How often did Kerry say that Bush couldn't even find the leaker in the WH so how could we trust him to search for Bin Laden? Just about every appearance he made I heard that point made in some form.

Why did the corporate media refuse to take up that question throughout the entire campaign?

The media ALREADY knew the WH was lying about their involvement, but why did they choose to look the other way after Bush specifically said the WH would investigate who leaked and hold them accountable? The questions for WH security chief today about the promised investigation shouldn't have had to be asked by Waxman today - it should've been asked EVERYDAY throughout 2003 and 2004 by the WH presscorps.

Media never PRESSED Bush or his spokespeople throughout that time on this investigation. THAT is why the lies about it never mattered to them.

The next investigation needs to be about the COMPLICITY of the media in this entire matter.

Time for corporate media to be held accountable for their part in protecting the White House for so long on this matter.
