3. Children live what they learn

When my best friend's daughter was 11 months, her mom left her on her bed surrounded by pillows. I went into the room and there she was with the phone in her hand, leg crossed at the knee going blah, blah, blah. Of course there was no one at the other end of the phone. I screamed with laughter and called her mom. We laughed until tears fell because she was a perfect picture of her mom on the phone.

The poor kid is just copying his ridiculous father and yes the dopes see something other than imitation.

It's truly sad.

4. My mother's moment came

when a playmate came over and wanted to play "church." I did the voice for the doll we assigned the priest role to, "Blah blah blah gimme money money money building fund blah blah blah."

At that point she realized I'd been paying a lot more attention than mother church thought I was and that I was nobody's fool. She had the good sense to leave the room before the guffaws exploded.
