according to this dude the first prime minister (?) of ireland was born in new york city, thus passed a law that anyone who had an irish grandparent can claim irish citizenship

i think the irish potato famine and the low population of ireland pre the 1990s "celtic tiger" phenom also have something to do w. this but that was his explanation for why almost anyone who wants to be is irish

except me (although i have a relative irish by way of actually being born in ireland) i'm only scots-irish

He may have a bit more Irish than me, though.

My Grandma was 1/4th from the Kellogg's
My Mom 1/8th
that makes ME 1/16th

His Great Grandpa 100% if he was from Ireland
His Grandpa at least 1/2 Was his Grandma Irish too?
His Mom at least 1/4th
Barack at least 1/8th
