After unsuccessfully trying to paint Obama as too inexperienced, too elitist, a Muslim, a terrorist, an Arab, a celebrity and not one of us, the McCain/Palin campaign unveiled a new slogan, “Oh Yeah!… Sez You!” The think tank, The Ann Coulter Foundation, consisting of members of the McCain campaign, the KKK and The Flat Earth Society came up with the slogan after months of trial and error and poll testing of Republicans.

“We’re very exited about this,” said Laura Ingraham. “It gives us something to hang our hats on, and it’s something our followers can understand.”

“My congregation loves it!” said preacher Billy Joe Bob outside of his mega-church in Atlanta. “Well, after I told them it’s a good thing… I told them, that’s what Jesus would have said.”

“I already say this all the time when I’m arguing with a lefty at work,” said Joe the Mechanic, who works for the defense contractor, General Dynamics. “It’s like they read my mind… or something.”

McCain spokeswoman, Wendy Riemann hopes that the timing will be right to counteract Colin Powell’s endorsement of Barack Obama. “We think it’s perfect,” Wendy beamed. “See, when someone points out all the endorsements from Republicans, like Colin Powell, all a person has to say is, ‘Oh yeah, sez you,’ I mean, what can you say to that?”

With all the stunts the Repubs have already tired, and failed with, it seems to me that they probably are about to this point.

I predict, they will shortly come up with something equally as inane as the subby proposes before the election is over.
