It's soooo visual! And describes so much with so little.

For example: Flo of the flying hairpins sat ram-rod straight with her long pointy flats placed precisely like slightly open scissor blades. With a light touch on the rim of her thick glasses she adjusted them, preparing to be clear and precise in her speech.

Is that a visual that describes a great deal of characterization in two sentences or what? I love this kind of description.
