when SNL's guest terms are to take what they give you or bow out, which she couldn't politically afford, given the anticipation. I absolutely think there's a story behind tonight we'll be hearing about later.

5. I think maybe she was supposed to sing it?
I mean, wouldn't that have made more sense? It was rather weird for her to appear and say she wouldn't sing it then sit there as someone else did. It smacked of last-minute improv on the cast's part.

6. Each got their skewering this week
Her on SNL and McCain on Letterman. She definitely was not happy. My friend and I were talking about why McCain HAD to go back on Letterman. He said that everyday Letterman kept dogging him and the handlers finally said,'You gotta go back and stop the bleeding'.
