Here's what I sent them:


Aside from the fact that the Constitution prohibits a religious test for office, how would I even begin to judge whether anyone's religious beliefs are really close to mine. And of what relevance is the closeness of someone's beliefs to mine anyway? We all bring different life experiences, education and religious upbringing to the table. I'm Jewish- I guess I just shouldn't vote at all since neither candidates beliefs are close to mine, huh?

Ask me whether their positions on important issues facing this country are close to mine and then we can talk. As far as i can tell, that is what really matters to the future of this country.
