I heard on the local news this morning that the FBI is raiding ACORN offices across the country and seizing files.


Even if they find nothing this is sure to keep a percentage of people from being eligible to vote if ACORN can't deliver registration files.

All the legitimate registrations will be held as "evidence". People will have to vote on provisional ballots, and the whole thing will be an ongoing process.

2. Does ACORN also have a GOTV program? If so,

this would kill it, since they wouldn't have their voter lists to use.

3. Registration is pretty much over...

There are still 10 states where one still CAN register to vote (CA, CT, IA, KS, ME, NE, NH, SD, VT and WY). Registration has already ended in other states, at least according to this, which links to the Sec of State for each state.

The GOP has politicized the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, and the Secret Service.

They have made the US attorneys the front line of their illegal and unconstitutional attacks on voting in America. Hopefully, we'll get some purges and prosecutions in 2009 of the bad actors.
