Bravo to Letterman!

for asking the question that SHOULD be asked by our "news sources"...

Kudos to Letterman for having the guts (or maybe he's still pissed) to ask McCain this question:

The question came, of all places, from late night comedian David Letterman, who pressed the Senator to explain why he was friendly with the man who was convicted in the Watergate scandal of conspiracy, burglary, and illegal wiretapping. McCain - according to an advanced report of the show - initially said that he "met" Liddy before adding, "He paid his debt, he went to prison, he paid his debt."

And yet, important to note in all of this, is that Liddy has been publicly unrepentant for his actions, much like Ayers. In an interview with the UK Independent Liddy said he didn't regret burglarizing the offices of the Democratic National Committee.



Now, do we think any news outlet will pick up on this story???

5. Letterman also asked about the secret plan to capture Bin Laden.

He pressed McCain on this. All McCain would say is...I'm not going to discuss this publicly...then...We need good intelligence. How obvious is that? Kudos for Letterman for doing what the MSM should be doing. McCain was trapped on the show and Letterman asked the tough questions.

perfect opportunity for a follow up question of "Why were all of those Farsi translators fired when they were so clearly needed in the wake of 9/11?"
