So .... "Jotha Plummer was a plant"???
Uh ..... not so sure that's really possible.

Obama shows up on some random street in Holland Ohio.

Obama knocks on some random doors.

Obama encounters so nutbag creep named Joe whjo has a fantasy about laying pipes and driving extra trucks.

What .... is the McCain campaign like Criss Angel? Making shit appear where it seeingly cannot logically be?

I have just about zero trust in the Joza Plant story.

Nasty divorce and a tax lien. Toledo is in Lucas County.

21. Not a wife beater. That cost in court is routine, goes to battered women. Everyone pays it.

2. I don't think he was a plant, but he sure was a gift for McC - for the time
being anyway.

I think he was just a vocal RW asshole who happened to be on the street where Obama was.

Has a crazy Mcsame supporter on it. I wish they were all plants, but believe me, they will still be here after the election.

20. I'm down here in Lebanon...
Man it's getting ugly around here. Don't forget, after Binghamton NY, we have the largest population of Klan members in South Lebanon.

22. Klan members? In Lebanon, Ohio? Really?
I thought that dubious honor went to New Vienna, Ohio -- or maybe that's just White Supremists who live there. . . wait . . . is there a difference?

Have one right across the road....in 2004, they had a "Catholics Against Kerry" sign in their yard.

They're not Catholic, they're Episcopalian.

Nuts.

7. I say we embrace Joe
Andrea Mitchell (R-Shill) even said last night that the rethugs couldn't "fact check" their way to proving that Joe would be hurt by Obama's tax plan.

If Joza is making a quarter of a million bucks a year in salary
then you can count on the fact that Joza has a huge commercial business that puts pipe in high rises and other massive structures. He's not going to show up and unclog your toilet, in other words. Chances are very good that he inherited the business and is one of those MBA plumbers who charges eighty bucks an hour and pays fifteen.

That's how Joza Plumber makes a quarter of a million bucks a year. It's also how he got on the radar of the rich man's party: he's one of the biggest fish in that industry.

10. No, I think Charles Keating's relative, AKA, Joe the Plumber,
just went all mavericky and did it on his own and the McCain campaign decided to go with it without vetting the guy (you'd have thought they would have learned their lesson when they didn't adequately vet Sarah Barracuda, but clearly, they did not). So, no I don't think he is a plant, but he sure is a great gift to our side. Funny, we didn't need anymore gifts, but who am I to look a gift elephant in the mouth?

They're trying to make it look like taxing Exxon or Bill Gates will only hurt Joe. They've been doing this for years. Same game, new name.

13. McCain's got somebody on the ground shadowing Obama..
and Obama has somebody shadowing McCain, so it's plausible that they found this guy to go out and talk to him, not saying that's what happened though.

14. Don't know, but the freepers were writing about Rush
talking about Joe the Plumber before the debate, saying he was going to be important...so maybe an after the fact set-up. Rather they saw Obama talk to him somewhere and tracked him down...they probably tracked down many people they see Obama talking to hoping to find something for talking points...

Not saying it is or isn't true, just that it is plausible.

17. Not Hard To Coordinate, And Yes, Cris Angel Is A GOOD Example
Because this IS similar to a magic trick. It LOOKS impossible, but really, not so much. Can happen as follows:

There are numerous ways to do it. They had a general framework set up of what they wanted to accomplish, they wanted a potential or actual small business owner to confront Obama and then have McC bring it up at the debate so they can connect w/ "Joe Sixpack". So they identify numerous supporters/lackey's/shills/small business owners who's name happens to be "Joe" or who they can call "Joe" (this guys name is actually Sam, his middle name is Joe) around Ohio and when Obama was in the area, they set them into motion. Perhaps they even had a heads up as to where O was going to be, most campaigns have this information on their opponents some time in advance.

If Obama was in different area, it would have been Joe the electrician (or whatever) who was nearby and would have confronted him.

It could work in several different ways. The shill hears O is in the area and contacts Mc's campain OR they have predetermined instructions on what to do if O is in the area OR McC's campaign finds out O is in there area and contacts them and puts them into action.

I'm not saying this is definitely the case of what happened, it certainly could have been spontaneous and McC's campaign just recognized an opportunity to exploit, but it's not hard to coordinate, especially w/ the resources of a national Presidential campaign. If I could figure out how to coordinate it, then the "pros" in McC's campaign can too.

Magicians do stuff like this all the time, it just takes a little bit of preparation and coordination.
