1. One of the more honest republicans.
a good deal of intellect. I can respect his opinion, even if it differs from mine.

He knows that the standard Repuke spews lies... and I wish he would call them on their bullshit more often.

4. I like him. He's truthful and has a good eye for what plays outside of Washington
I hope that Obama will find a suitable position for him.

7. Interesting thought...
Gergen worked for Clinton. I could see him with a position in the Obama Admin somewhere.

5. He's one of the fairest Republican talking heads.
He doesn't spew talking points, and actually has some good things to say quite often. I like him, though I don't always agree with him.

6. I concur with the above consensus...
I've liked him for years. He was the conservative on McNeil/Lehrer for quite a while back in the day.

Sure, I disagree with many (most) of his positions, but he has always made his arguments with intellect and class, not with spite and sarcasm. If people like him ran the Republican Party I could maybe stand them. Until they put more like him out front, I won't be voting Repub for a while.

9. He's the voice of Big Money. A Kool Aid Server. Don't drink it.

Not on our side. Not honest, except to the extent that, like any good con artist, he believes what he says. A servant. A house slave who believes his masters are just and we are garbage and their rule of the world is the highest value, and our lives mean nothing.

Not your run of the mill TV whore, but a High Class Whore.

If you want to know what the Master Class is thinking and advocating, listen to him. If you want to know what serves their interests, listen to him.

If you want the truth, well, listen to someone who is actually on our side.

(edit to add a small bit)

Just when I think I can like the guy he says something way out in right field.

As pundits go, he's one of the more rational ones.

I just want to say to him "Dave, what's up with the combover? You can't think that looks good, bro!"
