9. McCain is a breathless freak. Darting eyes, flashes of anger,...

...constant whiny, complainy, desperation. The man is cracked. Garbling his words over and over, panting, jaw set, eyes wet.

When Obama said he would tell "Joe the Plumber" his fine, and it was zero, McCain looked like he dropped a milk dud in his Jockeys. When Obama said that if it sounded incredible that he would vote to deny life saving treatment to an infant, that's because it wasn't true, McCain looked like a spanked cur. Every time Obama said something McCain said wasn't true, McCain looked "caught."

How many times did McCain slur his words, twiddle his pen, pant, flash his eyes kinda kooky? It was like William F. Buckley only "dumb crazy" instead of just for show like Buckley.

11. His facial expressions gave away how absolutely

pissed off he was that Obama was handling everything McCain dished out. I fully expected him to come unglued at one point, but he managed to calm himself down. What really ticked me off however was how the moderator consistently gave McCain the last word. It got very old very fast.

14. I thought Obama played this debate perfectly.

It was pretty obvious that given the thrashing McCain received in the first 2, that Obama correctly saw that this final debate would be less about substance and more about style, appearance, self-control, and the projection of leadership.

McCain failed miserably on all of those counts. As a matter of fact...the split screen shots of McCain's face when Obama was talking, pretty much showed the world that McCain is becoming seriously unhinged. If his eyes had bulged anymore anymore, they would have literally popped out of his head. The guy was actually starting to frighten me.

And Bob Shieffer; holy shit. He looked like he wanted to end it about 3 times for fear that McCain was going to either stroke out on him, or go "Rambo-having-a-nam-flashback" and lunging over the desk toward Obama with a knife in his teeth.

A very eye-opening night to be sure...
