1. The scandal broke out......

.....after people had been early voting. Had this broken before, he would have not been elected. It was a very tight race.....

I love early voting, but in this case, it did not work in favor of the people.....

2. Yes, but he's an upstanding Republican

who was running against an uppity female Democrat who *gasp* is a university professor. A no-brainer (and I truly mean that) for the rural Nevadans who still think the state should become it's own (preferably Mormon) Sagebrush kingdom. As much as I hate that Nevada voted for Bush in 2004, I really hate that this jerk was elected governor.

3. one thing repuke friends and I agree on

governor needs to go. Heard from capital people in the know one repub and one dem are planning impeachment papers just to keep him busy and hopefully not embarrassing the state any further.
