100 days and our nightmare can be over.

I am sending this email out to every person in my email address book. Especially to a lot of rethug friends and family. Would appreciate any suggestions before I hit the send button. -


Finally, mercifully, blessedly 100 days until the Bush Administration will be nothing but a really bad memory of a horrible eight-year long nightmare. 100 days from today, January 20, 2009, we will be watching the inauguration of a new ear.

Hopefully it will be President Obama and then the country can begin to fix things that have quickly gone wrong with bad policies and incompetent personnel. More of the same from Insane McCain and Caribou Barbie Palin would fix nothing - McCain agrees with Bush over 90% of the time - can we really take another six months much less another four years of this insanity? No, we can't. This is bigger than party loyalty or cafeteria picking and choosing of single issues. Our financial and personal security is at stake and we can't stop the slide with a re-run of the Bush Administration from a non-Maverick candidate like McCain. (Just because I say I'm 24, thin, blond and rich doesn't make it any more true than repeatedly saying you are a maverick when you have taken page after page out of the dirty campaign playbook of Karl Rove to win the election.)

Remember, despite what Fox News continue to spew - Obama is not Muslim, he is Christian - always has been. Obama does not "pal around" with terrorists - he served on a Republican educational charity board with Bill Ayers, nothing more, nothing less. Obama was eight years old when Ayers was with the Weathermen - are people not redeemable? Hasn't Ayers lived an explenary life since? Isn't that a basic tenet of Christianity - that people can change their lives and do good? Obama's middle name is Hussein - big whooping deal - almost everyone in the world has been tagged with a name they had absolutely no say about. Just because one bad guy happens to share the same name with one truly good guy doesn't mean they have anything else in common. If that were true every man in American named George should be brought up on war crimes at The Hague.

We have got to get out the vote to ensure it won't be stolen again by a crazy mix of neocons and warmongers - tell your friends. Mark your calendars, plan your day, volunteer to get people to the polls on November 4th. VOTE.
