He failed out of college or dropped out of high school. He runs up massive credit card debt buying expensive toys. He drinks, smokes, and does drugs occasionally. He has had a string of failed relationships with women and sexual indiscretions. This is the relative you have who seems like he might be a nice guy at first, but then never follows through on any commitments or keeps any promises, so you keep your kids a safe distance from him and limit your contact with him to the bare minimum.
